SOLIDARITY FOR SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES(SOSES)

Delivers education programs focused on literacy, numeracy, vocational training, and digital literacy, alongside entrepreneurship, savings, and bookkeeping training to support personal development and economic resilience.

Operates the SWG initiative, providing at-risk women aged 18–35 with income generation skills training in pastry and yogurt production, shoemaking, soap making, bag production, and jewelry crafting to promote financial independence.

Conducts child protection efforts through awareness campaigns, capacity building, and policy advocacy to prevent abuse and exploitation of women and children, including the establishment of a dedicated Child Protection department in response to observed challenges such as sexual abuse and displacement.

Conducts research on primary healthcare systems and stakeholder impacts to identify gaps and inform the development of sustainable health solutions.

Supports maternal and child health through antenatal and postnatal care, child vaccinations, treatment for severe acute malnutrition and malaria, promotion of exclusive breastfeeding, distribution of maternal kits, midwifery services, and facilitation of access to skilled birth attendants, including targeted campaigns in 2024.

Implements microfinance and entrepreneurship programs, including microcredit initiatives with conditional cash transfers in the form of loans or grants, to support business and agricultural expansion for women and men, with a focus on food security and economic empowerment.

Employs professionals in project management, finance, monitoring and evaluation, communications, and fundraising, and seeks to hire individuals for various positions to support organizational mission and operations.

Provides comprehensive primary healthcare services through mobile clinics and on-site consultations, including laboratory testing, medication dispensing, counseling, referrals, and treatment for malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS, with antiretroviral therapy administration.

Implements ongoing sanitation and health sensitization initiatives in underprivileged communities, particularly in Ekondo Titi and Buea, Southwest Region, Cameroon, including WASH promotion and hygiene education.

Delivers sexual and reproductive health education, peer-led STI/STD awareness initiatives, condom use demonstrations, and distributes condoms and dignity kits to improve reproductive health outcomes.

Operates a volunteer program requiring applicants to submit a completed volunteer form, CV, and motivation letter to support organizational activities.

Implements WASH initiatives through construction and maintenance of water systems, provision of water catchment solutions and purification supplies, and distribution of hygiene items and educational materials in target communities.

Conducts training for grassroots farmers in organic pesticide, fungicide, and bactericide production, land preparation, farm management, climate change resilience, and post-harvest techniques, while distributing high-yield, disease-resistant seeds, cuttings, hand-pushed trucks, spraying cans, and processing machines to enhance productivity.

Organizes and conducts time-bound health and awareness campaigns such as World Menstrual Hygiene Day (2024), International Day of Education (2025), and a health campaign in Mile 16 in partnership with Royalty World (2025).
