LIFE - PLAN ACTION AND DEVELOPMENT

Provides educational enhancement assistance and tools to help residents succeed in school, alongside a structured daily routine that includes hygiene, chores, and breakfast before school, with weekly reviews and updates of facility goals where residents can earn privileges based on responsible behavior.

Offers structured physical activities such as team sports, gym training, cycling, and fishing, alongside recreational and developmental activities like Nanoblock building, table games, creative interventions (e.g., decorating shoeboxes), and organized outings including snow play, car shows, rock climbing, and visits to the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Operates four residential homes (Banning Boys Home, Jurupa Girls Home, Murrieta Girls Home, and Temecula Boys Home) in Riverside County, California, providing residential care and treatment for at-risk youth aged 12 to 18, with an average stay of 12 months. The program aims for 95% of graduates to enroll in college or trade school.

Provides individual therapy at least twice per week and daily group therapy focusing on community living, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, healthy peer relationships, coping skills, and anger management. Behavior modification programs are also developed to shape resident behavior.

Engages residents in community activities through the Murrieta Unified School District Foster Care Liaison, including trips to local colleges and the state capital, and assists with life transitions for teens.

Provides complementary therapeutic and life skills activities including weekly equine therapy, swimming, money management outings, music therapy, self-care groups, and participation in Teen Leadership and Girls Circle groups to discuss social and community issues.
