YATIMA FOUNDATION

Provides adoption and foster care services for abandoned and neglected children in partnership with Buckner Kenya. Offers financial support to families for legal fees associated with adopting children.

Operates integrated agriculture programs in Bungoma and Narok, combining poultry, dairy, and crop production (including greenhouse farming for kales, sunflower, and maize) to support child feeding programs and generate income through surplus sales. Raises improved indigenous chickens for eggs and chicks, and produces milk through semi-zero grazing.

Rescues children from abusive environments, provides emotional and medical support to victims of abuse, and conducts sensitization forums at household, school, and community levels to prevent child abuse. Offers counseling, mentoring, and medical care to children and families in high-risk communities, including ongoing group and individual counseling sessions through social workers.

Increases the organization's visibility by creating content, managing daily communications, supporting digital strategy, and ensuring consistent updates across digital and offline media platforms.

Develops Christian schools and provides education sponsorship to 584 primary-level students, 161 secondary-level students, and over 55 students in tertiary education, including 31 post-graduate students. Offers vocational Bible study programs and mentorship sessions to sponsored and graduate students, and provides educational and psychosocial assistance to high school students. Constructs and improves educational infrastructure like learning facilities and administration blocks.

Provides direct food supplies to vulnerable families in emergency situations, conducts nutritional assessments, and offers health referrals for severe malnutrition. Operates school feeding programs with nutritious meals, and supports 50 households with farm inputs to improve food security. Utilizes agricultural projects (dairy, poultry, crop farming) to supplement school feeding programs and generate income.

Strengthens Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) systems, manages donor relations and reporting, supports income-generating initiatives, and enhances internal processes to ensure effective and efficient service delivery across all programs.

Coordinates all programs across Kenya, including managing budgets, procurement, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance. Oversees operations in education, social work, health services, and agricultural activities at project centers, and manages the sponsorship program and administrative support for children's profiles.

Constructs essential community infrastructure, such as the Mike Douris Tuition and Administration Block in Mechimeru, Bungoma, and a borehole in Naisoya, Narok County, to provide clean water to thousands of community members.

Coordinates an internship and volunteer program, with communication and ICT interns operating from the corporate office and conducting fieldwork at various centers.
